Artemis Study association

About

What is Artemis?

Artemis is the study association for the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering’s Master track Space of the Delft University of Technology. The association is fully run by students in their spare time and was founded on the 25th of March 2022 in Delft. The association is independent and not a daughter association of our friends, VSV Leonardo da Vinci.

What does Artemis do?

Facilitate community

Artemis wants to facilitate building and managing a community of our staff and students. Artemis does not seek to fix problems, but is rather there to help and provide additional information. It aims to achieve that with the following three main points of interest:

Education

Educational support will be provided in the form of thesis topics which will be brought to the attention of the students, together with the supervisors. Track information, regarding which courses to pick will be provided as well. As side objectives, occasionally polls will be send out to students regarding the quality of the study and communication with the VSV and FSR regarding quality issues.

Communication

Artemis aims to improve communication between students and TU Delft by forwarding questions that our students may have to the right person. Additionally, networking events will be organized either fully or partial, such as thesis fair, career fair or excursions to companies. Organizing lunch lectures, for internal and external sources, is also part of this.

Socializing

Socializing is an important aspect of the student life, it focusses mainly on relaxing with peers and to get to know them better on a personal level. Events that will be organized for this purpose are for example Space Bars, barbecues and movie nights.

For whom is Artemis?

Artemis is for all the students, staff and PhDs for the faculty of Aerospace Engineering related to the Space Engineering department (8th and 9th floor of the faculty) and the master track Space.
