Background

Hey, I am Luis! After living in The Netherlands for the last 5 years, did my bachelor’s in Aerospace and currently finishing my master’s in Space Exploration, I decided to join Artemis as an internal affairs commissioner to help improve the communication between faculty members and students. Along with Robbin, we will work together to accomplish a number of goals. These are the following:

Provide educational information

One of the goals is to make the Artemis website a source of information regarding the Space master track.

Polling of current curriculum and improvements

The master is getting refreshed in academic year 2022-2023. There are quite some changes to courses. While the VSV is reponsible for sending out polls regarding courses, it is also useful to obtain information about how our students would see the curriculum filled. What are they missing and what is redundant?

Smoother communication

Communication is very important, especially regarding study related changes. Through an improved communication line, it will be easier to implement changes and gaining feedback from both students and staff about these changes. Besides that, vacancies, for example about small side projects or thesis projects, can also be communicated to reach a broader audience to join the project.
