Chair & co-founder

Momo Powis

Background

I am currently a second year Space track student in the engineering profile, and I hope to do my thesis in Microsatellite testing procedures.  I am of British and Japanese descent but lived most of my life in the UK. I have now been living in the Netherlands for 6 years and last year, together with Aicha, we set up Artemis. I was chair and will continue this role again this year.

Last year I focused on setting up the administration of Artemis so that this year I can focus on more fun projects and events for student and staff of space. With the help of the 2nd board of Artemis I hope to collaborate with the faculty and faculty bodies to increase the number of resources and events for students.

Artemis visibility

My personal goals for this year are to promote the Space department and society to prospective students and companies: Kick off BBQ and Master open day promotion.

Celebrating milestones

As well as End of year BBQ to celebrate the end of the academic year!

Keep Artemis growing

On top of this, my main focus will be to help my board members to achieve their goals for this year.
